On June 5 Afton’s fourth grade students toured the State Capitol Building in Albany and visited the New York State Museum. Assemblyman Hooker explained his job in Albany and how the government works. The afternoon was spent visiting the New York State Museum and seeing a special display of Word Trade Center (9/11) items. The field trip helped the students better understand both the government and history of New York State.
