ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATION School health personnel are frequently asked to administer medications to students. Ideally, all medications should be given at home, but this is not always possible. New York State law states that medications given at shool MUST be brought in by a parent or another adult to the health office. NO MEDICATION IS TO BE ON ANY BUS WITH A STUDENT. In order to avoid transporting medication daily, your pharmacist may be able to supply a second container (one to remain at home, another for school).
